Thomas Pilcher


Thomas was born in Selma, Alabama moving to Baldwin County in 2009 where he now lives with his family. He began his practice as an assistant district attorney and discovered his love for the courtroom. Since that day, he has become known as one of the top jury lawyers in Alabama. He has won jury trials by receiving favorable verdicts in cases ranging from automobile accidents to capital murders. In addition to his jury trial work, Thomas handles real estate transactions and development/zoning work. Additionally, he was named as the first County Administrator in Baldwin County, Alabama, where he administers estates of those who have no family in Alabama.

Outside of the practice of law, Thomas is active within the community serving on various boards and civic associations. He makes it a priority to coach for his children's youth sports and be a positive for the youth in his community.

Seth Grissom


Seth represents clients in cases involving personal injuries, automobile accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, slip and falls, termite damage, and other general litigation matters. Throughout his career, Seth has successfully litigated many cases in both state and federal courts and obtained favorable jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Seth is a member in good standing of the Alabama Bar and is licensed to practice in the Northern, Middle, and Southern Federal District Courts of Alabama.

Prior to becoming an attorney in 2009, Seth graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Economics. Seth is married with two children and lives in Homewood, Alabama.

W. YANCEY Jernigan V


Yancey Jernigan is an Associate Attorney with Pilcher & Grissom's Baldwin County team He is a member of the Litigation practice group where he represents clients in a wide range of practice areas including Real Estate and Real Property Law; Trust, Estate, and Probate Litigation; Construction Litigation; Personal Injury; and Criminal Law. He also works with clients in connection with a variety of business matters as well.

Yancey earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where he earned a spot on the Dean's list and received scholarships based upon his leadership and academic ability. Prior to that, he attained his bachelor's degree in Business at Auburn University where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and was a member of various Honor Societies.

He is a lifetime resident of Alabama. Born and raised in Brewton, Alabama and currently residing in Baldwin County, he is located in our Bay Minette office. During Law school, he spent two years working for a general practice firm where he was able to gain valuable experience before joining our team. Yancey is admitted to the Alabama State Bar and is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association.
